116. Let’s Hit Those Money Goals

It’s time to set a MONEY GOAL!

MONEY GOALS

I think money is a weird thing for people.  It makes people uncomfortable – uncomfortable to share.  But, money pushes you through that discomfort and through some of the things that are holding you back.  This is why I like making money goals.  When you set a money goal, a lot of the time it brings up emotional or other heavy things that are stopping you from experiencing success.  You need to work through these things!

Last year, I set a really big money goal.  I was trying to make more in a 4-week period than I had made in previous years.  It was crazy.  I set the goal and had anxiety for weeks about it.  At the end of the day, if I didn’t hit the goal, it was just me.  It didn’t matter too much, but I had an accountability group, and I was checking in constantly about how I was doing.  It wasn’t about the money, but because I had set the money goal, a ton of anxiety came up… “What is this random uncle that I never see going to think about me if I make this money”, “Are people going to think I’m all about money now”, etc. My goal brought up all these negative money beliefs that I didn’t know I was carrying.  I was worried and anxious – I was spiraling.  Because I set this goal and my money issues came up, I was able to work through them and heal those relationships and values.  I cleared all of it up, and spoiler alert, I hit that goal 2 months in a row! It was a lot of work, but I had been playing it safe.  Ultimately, I realized my success doesn’t mean I’m not a prideful person, it just means I’m able to do what I’m already doing just a little bit bigger.

MONEY GOALS

I want you to set a specific money goal that makes your stomach drop just a little bit. It’s above what you’re comfortable with.  I want you to print it out and I want you to put it on your bulletin board, just like I did. I don’t want you to be afraid of it – I want you to put it up! Set the goal, print it out, look at it and see it every day.  Say it every day.  Next to your money goal, break it down into smaller goals – however and whatever that looks like for you.  Once you break that down, evaluate what you need to do to accomplish those small goals.  What’s your marketing? What’s your strategy? Break it down until you know exactly what you need to hit that goal. Set your goal and work backwards.  You’re brainstorming all the things you need to do to make that money. The more you know about what converts, the easier it is to make more money.

MONEY GOALS

If you need help figuring that out, you can book a 1-on-1 session with me or you can come into our group coaching that starts at the end of January.  Start asking yourself more questions about your business and know exactly what it will take.

This is the key to accomplishing those money goals in 2023!
