Is the thing that you’re looking for already right in front of you?
I want you to pause and think about that…
A lot of times, when I’m coaching women, they’re running around chasing the next
biggest thing. There’s so much going on that we feel like we must chase it all around
because what we’re doing does seem enough.
I’m here to tell you: The grass is not always greener on the other side.
If you’re one of these types of people that likes to chase the next biggest thing and
you’re constantly looking for something else, I want you to pause. I want you to take a
deep breath. I want you to think: Is the thing that I’m looking for already right in front of
Maybe it’s a service you’re offering or a product you’ve already developed. BUT,
because we’re bombarded by…
Selling your own product
Service Based Businesses
…it’s hard to figure out what our thing is or to realize what we’ve already created.
I’m here to tell you — There’s ALWAYS going to be something else to try or something
else to add. BUT, that doesn’t mean you have to chase it.
I have a friend that signed up for coaching with me. She’s been an amazing
entrepreneur for many years and done many things. She saw that coaching had been
successful for me, and she wanted to do the same. She wanted to launch a course and
help people, but once we got behind the WHY of her next biggest thing, we discovered
that she really wanted and needed to make a lot of money in a short amount of time. I
told her – let’s take a step back and go back to what you’re good at, what you’re known
for. Let’s make you money on what you’re already good at, then when things settle
down, you can launch something new.
SO Many people JUMP ship to the next thing when the ship that they’re on is hard or
gets a little boring. However, the ship that you’re on may be the one to take you to your destination. The ship that you’re on is enough. That doesn’t mean that you need to stay on that ship, because I want you to push yourself and follow your intuition, but I want you to pull back the layers on what you’re doing and get to the root of it all.
Every single thing you sign up for and do is going to have parts that you don’t like.
Keep that in mind.
I listened to a podcast years ago that really stood out to me. On this podcast, she said,
“You need to take one offer to a million dollars before you add on another offer.” I love
that, and it’s really stuck with me. I realized, I’ve launched a course, made $5,000…
launched another, made $10,000… launched another, made $20,000… etc. I was so
stuck on selling and educating my warm audience, and I likely missed out on the
opportunity to grow beyond those clients and that audience. I could have helped so
many more people with that same content.
So, here’s my advice to you: Focus on that one offer. Building up that one offer to
$100,000 or $1 million. Know that there are clients beyond the clients that you have
You can invest in:
Different marketing strategies
There are so many ways to grow, but stop relaunching new ideas and build out one
offer to more people.
The grass isn’t always greener, so stick with what you’ve got going on. Look right in
front of you, and ask yourself, “is the thing that I’m looking for already right in front of
