What Does Your Story Look Like? | Manifestation story

One thing that I have realized with coaching women, is a lot of us are just going kind of blindly into our businesses and into our life, and not knowing where it’s going to lead.

I was there too.  I remember, when I started my business in 2011, I was just planning on doing friends and family clients forever. In the beginning, it’s hard, and you often think “I’m just going to see where this goes.”  I think that’s okay – a baby step at a time! Eventually, though, you get to a point where you’re going in a direction, and you don’t even know if it’s where you want to be.  At that point, we need to PAUSE and see where it is that you want to go.  When you PAUSE, you can start steering your business and your life into that direction.

One of the easiest ways for me to do this is through a yearly Manifestation Story.  I learned this practice in a bundle that I promoted a long time ago.  In this bundle, there was a manifestation course that I listened to.  The word “manifest” was so confusing to me before that course, but really, it’s putting what you want out there, then attracting opportunities to get it! I know I’ve talked about manifesting before, but if you haven’t figured it out yet, you need to hear it again and again! It’s so big but basic! It’s easy!

So, every year, I update my Manifestation Story.  So far, this year’s Manifestation Story is basically what life already is – I need to push myself more, and I want you to do the same! Here’s what you’re doing: You’re writing out your life story in the present tense and as if you’re living your dream life.  Then, you’re going to add in all the other things you desire in your life as if they’re already happening.  For example, I wrote down, “We bought our first rental home in Bear Lake… We make amazing residual income renting it out full time…” etc.  Now, that hasn’t happened yet, but I wrote it down like it has because that’s the goal.  I want to manifest it! I want to start doing things, and my brain is going to be attracted to things, that will help accomplish that goal.  If I didn’t write that down, then maybe I wouldn’t know that that’s what I want and I wouldn’t work towards it. A Manifestation Story is a way of putting words/a story to your vision board.  You want your family, your health and wellness, your personal growth, your spirituality, your relationship with others, your career goals, etc. listed in your Manifestation Story.  You’re going to list all those important things in this story about yourself!

A coach of mine says to put your Manifestation Story on 1 piece of paper, 12 pt. font, single spaced, and no margins.  When you do this, there’s no room for that story to change.  It fills the whole page so nothing can fill in the blanks.

Your Manifestation Story can be whatever you want, but make sure it encompasses your entire life and your vision for your life.  Personally, I write my Manifestation Story 1 year at a time to avoid anxiety and overwhelm, but if you want to look 5 to 10 years down the road, go for it!

No matter what, you need to put your dream life out there so you can start visualizing your success.  You need your brain can start attracting success.  You need to attract the joy and good things that you actually want in life.

Look at all the different areas of your life and visualize what that would look like if it was ideal and perfect.
